Happy New Year!
Well, lots have been happening here. First we had a party - Jason's brother and cousins were in town so we had everyone over to our house.

Aaron came in from Atlanta, on a plane he didn't jump out of (he's jumped over 200 times. Seriously.)

Cousin Mimi and her husband Paul came from New York. They are big travelers so this trip was no biggie for them. They are off to Scotland in March. See the world!

Cousin Mark and his wife Kim are having a baby! Luckily Charlie was super charming and cute and therefore didn't scare them into having a sleepless night, wondering, "Did we do the right thing?" She is due in April - a baby boy they'll name Ryan.

Mark owns a digital camera supply store called
Blue Nook. This meant he could figure out how to set the automatic timer on our camera. Too bad he didn't know how to teach me to straighten the lamp or take Charlie's toy out of the frame. Oh well.

So what else has been going on? Hmm. Oh yeah! We bought a house!

It's in Lake Forest Park, Washington - just north of Seattle and only eight miles from where we used to live. We're moving at the end of the month and hopefully that will be it for the moving. We're so happy we have the kind of lifestyle that allows us to live wherever we want. But it's time to plant roots. And after living in San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle and Ann Arbor, we think this is the perfect place to do it.
So the house is awesome - it has a killer basement with the perfect kitchenette/poker room:

A gorgeous living room with huge windows overlooking the heavily-treed park across the street:

And a backyard - well, just see for yourself:

Now all that's left is the packing. I already packed the little monkey.

There are a lot more pictures, both of the
cousins' visit and
the new house. Enjoy!
